Why Chemistry and Biochemistry At USK?
The University of Saint Katherine’s Chemistry & Biochemistry concentration is designed to prepare students for graduate work leading to careers in teaching and research at colleges and universities, in research for government and industry, in the operation and control of manufacturing processes, and in management and development positions in the chemical industry. Faculty members working with small classes sizes help students develop the creativity and critical thinking skills to achieve excellence in inquiry, discovery, application, and service. The experience culminates in writing a thesis focusing on an area of research interest under the guidance of the student’s individual faculty thesis adviser.
